Ochsner is seeking Clinical Pharmacists to monitor and evaluate drug therapy for appropriateness based on the patient and cost efficient measures. Assumes responsibility for the management of pharmacy services to assigned areas for the goal of improving patient outcomes. Provides drug information to health care personnel. Participates with appropriate medical team on patient care rounds. Precepts pharmacy students and residents. Provides inservices/education to pharmacy and other health care providers when appropriate.

Required Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from accredited College of Pharmacy or equivalent experience required; post-doctoral residency or fellowship preferred; LA license or immediate eligibility; excellent clinical experience, interpersonal skills; computer skills.
