Description:
The Nurse Practitioner provides medical services
for the Occupational Health Clinic under the direction
of a physician.
Job duties and responsibilities include: *Demonstrates the ability to learn diverse bodies of knowledge relating to department management and growth of the clinic *Remains current on rules and regulations of Occupational Medicine services, Department of Transportation requirements and Workers Compensation regulations. *Increases services with trainings, certifications and other related classes *Establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors *Identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement *Works with hospital staff and management to achieve facility goals Job requirements include: *Masters Degree required *Must have a current Texas RN and Advanced Nurse Practitioner Texas license *Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner *Current BCLS certification *Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred Senta.Miles@hcahealthcare.com Posting
