Job Details: Medical Laboratory Technician

Description: We require a self-motivated professional with exceptional organizational, analytical, communication and team skills committed to providing laboratory services to our clients under the supervision of a qualified Medical Technologist.

Responsibilities Include:
• Accurately performs and records results of various tests
• Prepares specimens and appropriate forms for labs and enter information in the computer
• Responds to phones inquiries for results
• Performs all duties and responsibilities as trained under the direction of Medical Technologist
• Obtains and maintains laboratory computer proficiency
• Attends meetings and participates in departmental or hospital committees

Requirements:
• Two or more years college science courses
• Registration with professional licensing body as a medical technician such as A.S.C.P or equivalent
• Must be computer literate
• Must have excellent organization, communication and listening skills

Schedule: 35 hours per week. May include working weekends
