Clinical position with opportunity for teaching
and research in vibrant family-oriented West Michigan
community.
Well-established, highly-respected practice
of four physicians seek a fifth. The practice also
includes 3.8 FTE nurse practitioners. This opportunity
offers 100% consultative Infectious Disease practice
with inpatient/outpatient responsibilities; no general
Internal Medicine patient care or Internal Medicine
on-call coverage required. There is no outpatient HIV
care involved in the practice. Infectious Disease on-call
schedule will be 1:5. Inpatient consultative care provided
by the practice to three major hospitals located within
10 minutes of each other. The practice also provides
consultation for infection control services to the
hospitals. Teaching opportunities with residents and
medical students are available affiliated with a major
big ten university. Support for basic and clinical
research exists.
This is an employed position
with Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Spectrum
Health is a large, non-profit, tertiary care center.
The position offers a competitive salary based on national
compensation survey data and a comprehensive benefit
