We are seeking a Chief
of Orthopedic Surgery for the Medical Service Corps
of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces. Based at
the 356-bed Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, the
ultra modern national capital, the Chief will direct
the clinical practice of three consulting surgeons
and six mid-level practitioners.
The successful
candidate will enjoy a varied clinical practice providing
orthopedic care to members of the UAE Armed Forces
and their family members. This is an outstanding opportunity
for the Orthopedic Surgeon whose focus is on patient
care but who wants more free time for a wide-range
of family activities, including travel, sailing, and
golf.
The successful candidate will hold undergraduate
and medical degrees, be board certified, with a minimum
of 10 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon
as a director, chief, or deputy chief of service with
a demonstrated skill to supervise colleagues and develop
programs and services.
