CHIEF
NURSING OFFICER
We are searching for someone
special, a leader of nurses who passionately believes
in mission, values, and quality of care and patient
safety. We seek a nurse executive who will be proud
to lead a team of bedside professionals who care for
patients with passion and a strong sense of mission.
Our
client is a 162-bed safety net hospital in the midst
of a remarkable financial and clinical quality turnaround,
and is led by one of the best turnaround CEOs in healthcare,
with a committed executive team and a future of service
that is growing stronger with each passing month.
The
ideal candidate will have 7 years of senior nursing
leadership, 5 of which as a Chief Nursing Officer or
the number 2 nursing leader of a full service acute
care hospital with a minimum of 100-staffed beds. A
bachelor's degree in nursing and a Master's degree
are required. Competency in directing the transformation
of nursing service, improving quality and patient safety,
as well as enriching the professional lives of the
patient care team is essential. Requires demonstrated
record of accomplishment in communicating a clear vision
for nursing and in successfully executing on strategic
plans.
