Position Profile Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Basic Qualifications (required) Graduate of NLN accredited ADN or diploma. BSN program preferred. Current State of California R.N. license, current BCLS (American Heart Assoc.), current ACLS.

Minimum Qualifications (required) Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors. Knowledge of patient focused delivery preferred.

Preferred Qualifications One year critical care experience, to include medical, cardiac, neuro and/or trauma patients.
