Description: Outstanding Opportunity to Lead in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry Services - Target Start January 2009
• Oldest established private Psychiatric hospital in Nashville needs Medical Director: Directorship will be based upon a twenty hour week leaving the balance of the week for Inpatient and Outpatient private practice as desire

• Requires Board Certification in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry (career concentration in Geriatrics preferred)
• Able to lead initiatives to promote integration of psychiatric and medical services
• Direct experience with development of physician performance improvement plans
• IT savvy and able to lead the medical staff through anticipated technological changes
• Excellent presentation skills; willing to provide medical center and community education
• Proven leadership skills; excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collegially with other mental health disciplines
• Will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of services and treatment provided by medical staff
• Provide supervision to the clinical directors and physicians of various programs
• Be responsible for providing clinical direction to the admissions department
• Maintain both Inpatient and Outpatient practice on campus
• PSA or Employment option--either will have Administrative and Clinical components
