Description: Memorial Hospital has a position available for a DYNAMIC Director of HIM
Position Summary:

- Establishes Departmental Goals
- Plans, coordinates and supervises overall department activities
- Develops and administrates the department budget
- Establishes departmental policies and procedures, including standards for productivity and quality
- Ensures the department meets all requirements (medical, legal, ethical, administrative, regulatory, corporate and hospital)
- Provides leadership and supervises Specialty Hospital HIM Department
- Selects, trains and evaluates all supervisory staff
- Promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction
- Maintains compliance with HIPAA Standards and HCA Policy and Procedure

Requirements:

- MUST have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a HIM Department
- MUST have 3 years of supervisory experience in a HIM Department
- Must interact with physicians, vendors, and hospital and department staff
