The Connecticut Children's Medical Center (CCMC) and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine seeks a BC/BE pediatric endocrinologist to join its Endocrinology Division. The division includes five physicians and offers care for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. The Division of Endocrinology has developed and implemented innovative models to enhance the quality of care provided to endocrine patients in the ambulatory care setting.

Connecticut Children's Medical Center has a comprehensive program for the care and education of over 1000 children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach. Candidates should have a scholarly interest in bench, translational, clinical, or medical informatics/outcomes research. Interested candidates must be BC/BE in pediatric endocrinology and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut.

Connecticut Children's Medical Center is the only hospital in the state devoted exclusively to the care of children. The 132-bed facility is the home of the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine's residency programs in pediatrics. The Faculty Practice Plan is a 100+ physician, multi-specialty pediatric group (medical & surgical), which is closely affiliated with Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

Academic appointment at the University of Connecticut is available and will be commensurate with level of training and experience (eligibility for senior level rank preferred). Position offers a competitive salary with a full and comprehensive benefits package.
