Responsibilities
1. Interfaces with various nursing units to facilitate patient and nursing staff placement in accordance with unit and staffing needs to ensure operational units are running efficiently and effectively.
'2. Coordinates the work of nursing staff on a daily basis as needs dictate, facilitating patient placement and staffing assignments and use of resources as appropriate.'
3. Provides direction to nursing staff and handles employee issues as needed.
'4. Functions as a working supervisor as services are needed, working across all units of the facility. '
5. Provides leadership for continuous development and expansion of the processes and services of the facility.
6. Mentors nursing staff and provides leadership for continuous development and empowerment of service teams and individual staff members.
7. Participates in patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's degree preferred). Current registered nurse license to practice in the state of Texas. Three years successful leadership experience within the assigned service area.
