Description: We are looking to expand, maintaining personalized high quality care while improving our lifestyle. We are stable, up to date, and well respected. Looking for the right fit in one to two new associates. Opportunity for equal partnership within 2 years.
Seeking 3rd and 4th ob/gyns to join us. We are a private practice in a professional building attached to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Lutheran General is an 800+ bed tertiary care center in the northern suburbs of Chicago, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.

Lutheran General has a residency program with 3 ob/gyn residents per year, as well as family practice residents rotating through Labor and Delivery. We have a Level 3 nursery, 5 MFM doctors, 3 urogynecologists, 1 gyne oncologist, and many reproductive endocrinologists on staff.

Patient population is generally middle to upper middle class, very ethnically diverse.

One of our physicians graduated residency in 1989, another of the physicians graduated 2001. Both are skilled in all forms of surgery including laparascopic, and practice both low risk and high risk obstetrics, as well as basic infertility services. Both of the physicians are married with families.

Practice is full time, office hours approximately 20 hours per week. We have one day off per week in which we have no clinical responsibilities. We each do 2 hours of office on Saturday once every 6 weeks.

We do approximately 25-30 deliveries per month, predominately low risk. We have in office ultrasound, some of us do amniocentesis, and we have just completed training for first trimester nuchal lucency screening. We are down the hall from the MFM office and genetics, and we have readily available consultation arrangements.

We see a large volume of general gynecology, and have a reasonably large surgical volume. We do office colposcopy, ultrasounds , SIS and Novasure procedures. We do our surgeries at Lutheran General, which has a main OR as well as an adjacent ambulatory surgery facility.

We have no ER call responsibilities, as they are handled by an in house physician , who also covers 24 hours for any emergencies.

We have excellent designated obstetrical anesthesiologists, with epidurals always available. Our patients often request scheduled inductions and scheduled repeat C sections.

We are a small, high quality practice with a longstanding reputation at Lutheran General, and we want to expand to 4 doctors without compromising that reputation. We have no plans to go to another hospital.
