Swedish Medical Center's Emergency Room teams are equipped to handle most urgent illnesses and injuries, with state-of-the-art equipment, including a sophisticated patient information system. On-call experts in virtually every medical and surgical specialty also back up our teams. Swedish has experienced staff and compassionate care at our community-based Ballard Campus location. In this important role, the Staff RN will be responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Will also delegate and supervise personnel, in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. To qualify, candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. Maintains current CPR card; Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred. Experience acquired from Accredited Registered School of Nursing is required. Must have knowledge of human growth and development to modify services to the age and development stage of the patient.
