Critical Care Physicians
The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is undergoing a significant expansion in Critical Care Services. A Regional Virtual ICU System to include the critical care beds at University Hospital is scheduled to open in April 2008. Complementary critical care practice, research, and administrative opportunities at University Hospital for board certified/eligible Intensivists from Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology and Neurology at the Assistant, Associate and Professor levels are available.

University Hospital is located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin and is the primary teaching affiliate for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine-Public Health and a major tertiary referral center for the upper Midwest. Recent expansion of the University Hospital Clinical Science Center has included re-location of the new Medical and Pharmacy Schools adjacent to University Hospital, a new Pediatric Hospital and the creation of a $134 million Interdisciplinary Research Complex to facilitate translation research. Collaborative research with scientists from the University and the Medical School will be encouraged.
