We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Trauma
Program Coordinator for our Level II Trauma Center.
Located in Lawrenceville, GA, 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta, Gwinnett Medical Center is setting a new standard of excellence in healthcare. GMC has experienced tremendous growth, bringing us to 500+ beds, four facilities comprised of three hospitals, including the new all-digital Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth, which opened in October 2006, and several specialty facilities. We are also slated to open a 155-bed tower the summer of 2009. Gwinnett Medical Center has been improving quality of life for Northeast Atlanta's families for more than 60 years. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Trauma Program Coordinator for our Level II Trauma Center to lead the trauma program per state guidelines. Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule assisting physicians in the hospital and in the office; graduate of an accredited nursing school; current GA RN license and have 3-5 years' experience in a trauma-related field. Prefer a candidate with up to 3 years Nurse Practitioner experience in a clinic or office setting. Family Nurse Practitioner certification by a national certification board via specialty organization or other national nursing professional organization required. Nurse Practitioner (Family) with a Masters of Nursing from an NLN accredited program that has newborn, pediatric experience and adult experience preferred.
