Pediatric Pulmonary and Allergy - Division Head

The University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics has an immediate opening for Head, Division of Pulmonary and Allergy. The Division currently has 3 faculty and 2 PNPs who provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient evaluations for children throughout the state. A new pediatric pulmonary function lab, a pediatric sleep laboratory, bronchscopy facilities are available.

The Division also runs the Breathmobile, an innovative mobile asthma program serving the underprivileged in and around Baltimore City. Clinical research activities center around the combined strengths of pulmonology and allergy in asthma.

Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology, have strong administrative experience, and commitment to research. The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
