The Position • The Administrative
Director of Cancer Care Programs is a new position
that will provide overall direction for the management,
operational planning, administrative coordination
and implementation of cancer programs and activities
related to the Cancer Care Center of Excellence
• Reports to the physician
chief executive officer of the medical group
• Qualified candidates
will have a master's degree or equivalent with
a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership
role at a large cancer center program, multi-specialty
practice or oncology-based physician group
• Oncology experience
highly desired
• Seeking a motivated
and strategic-minded individual with a strong business
and financial background, as well as program development
skills
• Excellent communication
and physician relations are essential

The Organization • The medical foundation
is a not-for-profit health care organization that
is a pioneer in both multispecialty group practice
and outpatient medicine
• The foundation was
formed in January 2008 by merging three large medical
groups that serve the San Francisco Bay Area
