Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA, was founded as a surgical hospital in 1910. Our medical center performs the largest volume of surgeries in the Pacific Northwest. With all that volume comes unmatched experience. Studies show the higher a surgery center's volumes, the better the outcomes. There is a direct correlation between experience and quality care. Swedish is currently seeking a Manager, Surgical Services - Pre/Post Surgery for our Cherry Hill Campus! The Surgical Services Manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or a group of patient care units within Nursing Services. The Manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center mission, vision, and value. To qualify, candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master's degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Current State of Washington RN license in conjunction is required with a current BLS / ACLS certification (PPACU only). First-line management experience is essential with at least three years clinical experience with demonstrated knowledge in specific clinical specialty and leadership qualities. Demonstrate advanced clinical and organizational skills related to the care of patients are necessary to qualify. Must have the ability to plan and modify clinical services based on the age, growth, and developmental stage of the patient.
