We are seeking a highly motivated leader for the role of Accreditation Specialist to serve at our multiple campuses. The ideal candidate will function as an accreditation and regulatory compliance specialist for system-wide and campus-specific initiatives. In this position, the Accreditation Specialist will facilitate and coordinate the interpretation, implementation, and compliance evaluation of The Joint Commission, Washington Administrative Codes, Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and other regulatory standards affecting Swedish Medical Center. Duties include coordinating action plans, responses, and required reporting for cited deficiencies or proposals.

Qualified candidates must possess a Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration. A minimum of three years of related experience required. Knowledge of regulatory compliance is necessary, as applicable to a healthcare institution. Registered Nurse or certificate program in Quality Improvement is highly desired, along with education and experience in performance assessment and improvement processes. Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical/surgical procedures is beneficial.
