Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner OBGYN Clinic - 0800003868 Description Job Summary: The certified Nurse Practitioner is a licensed health care provider who gives specialty OBGYN care for clinic patients. The CRNP provides care with a special emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention and gynecological services Essential Duties: Manages the care of and gives direct patient care according to established protocols/guidelines. Consults with the appropriate physician accordingly to establish protocols/guidelines. Utilizes the established CRNP Practice guidelines for obtaining medical consults, collaboration and referral. Collects and assesses patient care data, develops and implements a plan of management and evaluates outcome of care. Demonstrates knowledge of and abides by federal and state regulations that apply to practice environment and infection control. Provide continuity of care for patients. Review Laboratory, Radiology, and other patient testing results. Initial and date all reports being reviewed. Complete insurance forms as required. Participate in Quality Improvement activities. Complete patient charts legibly and provide adequate documentation. Respond to patients' telephone questions and requests timely. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications Education: Graduate from a NLN accredited School of Nursing. Masters degree in appropriate field of medicine preferred. Experience: 1-2 years experience in patient care. License/Certification: Licensed as a CRNP in state. BLS required. Fluent in Spanish preferred.
