Description: Currently, our hourly rate is $130 with benefits. Benefits include paid vacation, health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and pension plan.

Emergency Physician

We are currently seeking a FT board eligible/board certified emergency physician at our community hospital in colonial Chestertown on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our emergency physicians are hospital employees and work 12-hour single physician covered shifts, with midlevel coverage in the middle of the day. Current annual volume is 16,200, and we are increasing at 9% per year on average. Full time is twelve shifts per month. Our state of the art emergency department has eleven beds in the 54 bed hospital, with a 64 slice CT scanner adjacent to the ED, a portable ultrasound dedicated to the ED, and PACS.

Currently, our hourly rate is $130 with benefits. Benefits include paid vacation, health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and pension plan. Any employee can contribute to the 403b retirement plan as well as flexible spending plan for medical expenses and dependent care expenses.
