Northland Cardiology, a premiere provider of cardiology services in the Kansas City Northland area, is in need for a board-certified general, diagnostic cardiologist to join their busy, well-established and growing practice of 13 physicians.

Northland Cardiology has existed for over twenty years and is recognized throughout the Midwest for providing excellent care. The group consists of board-certified cardiologists located in northern metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri. Our objective is to give the very best care and services available.

Our practice performs approximately 3000 catheterizations and 1200 coronary interventions annually, making our cardiovascular program one of the largest in Kansas City. The practice accounts for approximately 40% of patient activity at North Kansas City Hospital. Our cardiovascular program features an aggressive interventional program with excellent access to the newest techniques including radiation brachytherapy, rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound, and virtually all of the other interventional tools available. We have a very active cath lab and new peripheral lab. Our cardiovascular surgery program currently performs over 400 open-heart procedures per year.

Our electrophysiology program is very active and includes placement of permanent pacemakers, PCD devices, biventricular pacing, and radiofrequency ablation.

Our practice provides the services for the Hospital's noninvasive lab including ekgs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiography.

We currently have two nuclear cameras in our office, as well as two stress echo and one echo lab.

The position offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including paid malpractice insurance. Anticipated call schedule is 1:10 rotation.
