Description: Emergency Medicine opportunity in the beautiful mountains of Kingsport, Tennessee! This is an independent contractor position.
We are currently seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to work in our 330 -bed facility in the picturesque city of Kingsport, Tennessee. The Emergency Room has 20 beds and state of the art equipment. This is an independent contractor opportunity with a miniumum of 12 shifts per month, every other weekend, shared holidays, bonuses every 6 months, competitive hourly compensation and malpractice and tail insurance will be paid. Scheduling is very flexible with 12 hour shifts.

Indian Path Medical Center is the hospital of choice for residents of our area with 330 inpatient beds and a full range of outpatient services. Services include the region's only nationally recognized Stroke Center, an emergency department with Level III trauma designation, a family-centered birthing area, geriatric psychiatric services, fertility center and a full range of behavioral and addictions services through Indian Path Pavilion. Additionally, Indian Path Medical Center is an integral member in the 14-facility Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA). This affiliation links us with other local MSHA facilities offering specialties including oncology services, physical rehabilitation, cardiology services, WINGS air rescue, and a children's hospital. All MSHA services are offered within a 30-mile radius of our facility.

Additionally, the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University is located less than 30 minutes away and offers residency programs in all primary care specialties and numerous sub-specialties.
