Job Details: Hospitalist Needed in Huntington, WV!!

 
Description: Humana Veterans Healthcare is recruiting for positions at the VA in Huntington, WV!!
Requirements: US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status, Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine of Family Training Program.

Duties: Provide care for inpatient medical patients ( not including patients in the ICU). Hospitalists provide ongoing care consultations for surgical patients when requested. Hospitalists activities entail at least daily rounds with documentation as well as supervision, direction, and education of internal medicine residents and medical students. The Hospitalist will serve in a group Hospitalists of who share patient care and education responsibilites. Hospitalists futher serve on Medical Staff Committees and are involved in Performance Inprovement activities within the Medical Center.

The successful candidate will receive a faculty appt with the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine commensurate with their credentials and experience.

Salary will be discussed with candidate.
