As an Occupational Therapist with Christiana Care, you are presented with a range of opportunities to advance your career. Work in an acute care, rehab and sub acute rehab as well as outpatient settings that includes, stroke and other neurologic disorders, geriatrics, trauma, orthopaedics, oncology and general
medical/surgical patients and pediatrics.

Christiana Hospital, a Level I trauma unit, offers a full range of rehabilitation services for inpatients including the Adult, Pediatric and Geriatric populations. Christiana also has a stroke unit which is the large referral source for our 41-bed rehabilitation unit at Wilmington Hospital.

Wilmington Hospital is an acute care hospital which has the specialty units of the Joint Replacement Center and the Center for Rehabilitation. Wilmington Hospitals Center for Rehabilitation is unique in that it has the areas only Easy Street environment - a system
of specifically designed activities to simulate the challenges patients will face in their everyday lives.

Riverside Transitional Care facility, located in Wilmington, is the sub acute component of Christiana Care Health System. At Riverside, therapists work as a close knit team to transition the majority of the patients back to their homes. Rehab services have state-of-the-art space which makes treating a pleasure for both the patients and staff.
