EAP CALL CENTER position. Responsible for the delivery of assigned account management services to contracted Employee Assistance Program (EAP) customers. Essential duties may include, but are not limited to: Conducts clinical assessment, triage, and referrral of routine and crisis member calls, provides management consultation to supervisors and managers of the EAP contracted client companies to help improve productivity and healthy functioning in the work place. Case manages mandatory referrals from contracted client companies for mental health, substance abuse, attendance, performance issues, or other work related issues. Responds to employer requests for critical incident diffusings. Performs other duties as assigned. Requires Masters degree in a mental health field with 3 to 5 years post graduate experience, professional EAP experience preferred but not required. Current valid California state license in a mental health field is required. Will consider out-of-state licensed clinician if in process of obtaining CA licensure. Background in Critical Incident Response Management training and CEAP preferred. Strong background in mental health, chemical dependency are needed. Crisis hotline experience helpful. Knowledge of employee management, workplace interface with human resource, safety, security, and overall employer concerns are helpful. Knowledge of current legislation, court decisions, and regulations that may affect EAP policy and protocol in risk management areas such as substance abuse, DOT, workplace violence, ADA mental health accommodation, FMLA, and similar areas would be helpful. Strong oral and written communication skills, strong organization and attention-to-detail abilities, general office practices knowledge and computer literacy or aptitude to learn programs required. Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and problem solve independently and take initiative. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. M-F, daytime hours.
