Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Provide prenatal and well woman care to patients according to clinical protocols consistent with individual privileges and scope of practice. 2. Arrange referrals and consultations for patients who have problems that are beyond the scope of the clinic. 3. Participate in the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Process and the Health Care Plan. 4. Assist other providers in handling patient phone calls; review lab results of other providers' patients as needed. 5. Interact with any other members of the patient care team such as, social workers, case managers, mental health providers, etc. Job Qualifications Knowledge, skill and ability: Ability to function in settings involving many different agencies collaborating to provide health care. Education or Formal Training: 1. Masters in Nursing from accredited Nurse Midwifery Program 2. Certified in Nurse Midwifery. License: Licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado. Experience with gestational diabetes a plus Bilingual skills a plus. Position may not include hospital deliveries. Excellent compensation and benefits including company paid medical, dental, and matching 401k. Additionally, licensure, professional association dues, and CME up to $2000 per year. Regular work week - Monday through Friday. No holidays. Occasional weekend possible in the future. Flexible hours 5-8's or 4-10's.
