McLeod Health,
an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, is
seeking the addition of three CV surgery Physician
Assistants as we redesign our current system with a
Physician led - PA driven model that will focus on
all aspects of care for the CV surgical patient. This
will include an opportunity to care for patients from
the pre-operative evaluation to intra-operative assisting
and then post-operative care including a rotation with
in-house call responsibilities. The focus will be on
cardiac surgery with a moderate amount of thoracic
and general vascular surgery. Qualified candidates
must have 2-3 years of CV surgery experience, including
proficiency with EVH skills. Benefits include a competitive
compensation package, including up to 5 weeks PTO,
additional CME time and budget, with a salary up to
the mid-$120's, all commensurate with experience. We
also offer a comprehensive benefits package, a retirement
plan, malpractice insurance, and a relocation allowance.
McLeod is located in Florence, SC, with a population
close to 200,000 and a service area of 1 million people.
Florence is a family oriented, medium sized community
with low cost of living and easy access to many travel
destinations including Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle
Beach and other coastal locations.
