seek a 4th Pediatric Urologist to join their Urology
Division.
The Connecticut Children's Medical Center
(CCMC) Division of Pediatric Urology and the University
of Connecticut School of Medicine, Division of Urology
seek a fourth board certified/board eligible Pediatric
Urologist to join their Urology Division.
In
this position, you will join a growing department that
has state-of-the-art minimally invasive/robotic and
endourologic/ESWL capabilities and a complete urodynamics/biofeedback
laboratory and a dedicated urodynamics nurse. The group
has an active clinical and basic research agenda, and
enjoys the support of a dedicated clinical research
associate and Ph.D. in an NIH funded lab. Interested
candidates should have a scholarly interest in medical
education, bench, translational or clinical research.
The practice is supported by two nurse practitioners
and two nurses within the. In addition, each physician
has a dedicated medical assistant. There is a full-time
urology resident and inpatient pediatric resident coverage.
Connecticut
Children's Medical Center is a 135-bed, free standing
children's hospital with an 18-bed PICU and a 32-bed
NICU. CCMC maintains a Division of Research, a research
center and serves as a satellite for the General Clinical
Research Center for the University of Connecticut School
of Medicine residency program in pediatrics and pediatric
surgical specialties. The Connecticut Children's Faculty
Practice Plan is a 100+ physician group.
Academic
appointment at the University of Connecticut will be
commensurate with level of training and experience.
