MATERNAL-FETAL MEDICINE: Join prestigious healthcare system, along the shores of Lake Michigan and lead the expansion and further development of the Maternal-Fetal division. This system is a leading integrated health system providing comprehensive patient care through its 14 hospitals and more than 100 clinics in over 70 communities throughout Eastern Wisconsin. At present, high-risk maternal/newborn care is delivered by Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists and nearly 120 OB/GYNs with 11,000 deliveries projected for 2006. Affiliated with the University of Wisconsin Medical School through its Milwaukee clinical campus offering residency and fellowship programs in a variety of specialties including OB/GYN.
This is an opportunity to contribute to system"s continued growth of its system-wide perinatology service that meets the needs of physicians and patients in a variety of health care settings throughout this area. This includes the continued development of standards, procedures, systems and guidelines that meet the unique and specific needs of patients and providers in each region while offering a consistent and integrated program incorporating "best practices" system-wide.

This position will offer ongoing dialog with all referring physicians, patient customers, colleagues and University leadership. Additionally, a diverse mix of clinical duties including direct patient care and consults, staff and program development, medical education, technology integration, and quality improvement round out a wonderful career opportunity for the right individual.
