The Children's Medical Center of Dayton and Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine are currently searching for a seasoned child neurologist to lead our child neurology department. Candidates must be board certified, licensed/licensable to practice in Ohio, and have 3-5 years experience in a leadership role. Salient features: -Dayton Children's is a 155-bed, freestanding children's hospital with referrals from 20 counties. -3 full time board certified pediatric neurologists on staff. -Offer all modalities of electroneurodiagnostic testing including EEG, video EEG, EVP and surgical monitoring. -Had over 5500 visits and 3700 tests in 2007. -2 clinical care coordinator nurses assist with the inpatient service while 3 triage nurses monitor and respond to telephone calls. -Excellent support services are available. -Pediatric neurosurgery offered on-site. -Opportunity to teach and monitor medical students, pediatric and med-peds residents, psychiatry fellows and neurology residents.
