PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST Skagit Valley Hospital is centrally located in Mt. Vernon, WA one hour north of Seattle and 1-1/2 hours south of Vancouver B.C. Immediate access to the beautiful north Puget Sound waterways and the San Juan Islands to the west, as well as the Cascade Mountains to the east. Live in an established and growing community that flourishes in beauty and quality of life. This full or part-time non-exempt position is responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation. As a member of the Rehabilitation department, this position is responsible for the provision of Occupational therapy treatments in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Specific duties may include hand rehab, home health, and/or hospital-based therapy. Previous experience working in an outpatient hand clinic, acute hospital, and/or nursing home is desired. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Washington. Current AHA (American Heart Association) CPR certification required. Must have demonstrated skills ability for providing acute based hospital O.T. care.
