Description: The Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs is currently seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurses to fill vacancies in Orting, WA.
This posting will be used to establish a pool of candidates for consideration to both permanent and non-permanent positions as they become available at the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, a beautiful location nestled in the Puyallup Valley in eastern Pierce County.

WDVA also operates three veterans homes across the state (Retsil, Orting, and Spokane), providing domiciliary, light and skilled nursing care for honorably discharged veterans, to include, in some instances, their spouses or widows.

WDVA employs more than 600 staff. The majority of staff at the veterans homes are represented by either the Washington State Nurses Association or the Washington Federation of State Employees.

Current and valid Washington State License to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Additional work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is desirable.

Compensation:
$2,724 - $3,549 per month.
