PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Skagit Valley Hospital is centrally located in Mt. Vernon, WA one hour north of Seattle and 1-1/2 hours south of Vancouver B.C. Immediate access to the beautiful north Puget Sound waterways and the San Juan Islands to the west, as well as the Cascade Mountains to the east. Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Internship experience in an acute care hospital is required for new graduates. Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy. New graduates may apply.
