Description: Geriatric / General Psychiatrist - Service Director
Full time position with responsibilities for direct patient care on the Geriatric Services. Clinical duties will include patient admission evaluations, treatment planning and daily care in a multidisciplinary treatment setting staffed by trained mental health professionals and other doctors. There is also opportunity for Service Directorship duties over the Geriatric Program.

Ideal candidate will be Board Eligible/Certified in Geriatric Psychiatry OR Board Certified in General Psychiatry with experience and interest in working with geriatric patient populations.

A compensation package including salary, benefits, and more will be offered. There is no weekend call required.

Hampton Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient, partial hospital and intensive outpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patient populations. Programs include psychiatric, addiction, and other specialty treatment programs provided to patients in a structured, nurturing environment. Our dedicated Older Adult Geriatric Services include comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluations, behavior management, family counseling, activity therapy and medication management designed for the special needs of older adults.
