The
Children's Hospital of the Greenville Hospital System
University Medical Center, seeks a full time B/C or
B/E Pulmonologist, with Fellowship training in Pediatric
Pulmonology for a hospital-based practice.
With
its 135 beds, the Children's Hospital covers all pediatric
subspecialty services including 65 NICU, 12 PICU, 8
Hematology-Oncology beds, and a separate Pediatric
ER.
The Children's Hospital is an integral
part of a 728 bed, tertiary referral center within
the main complex of The Greenville Hospital System.
It is located on the downtown campus of Greenville
Memorial Hospital, with outpatient offices at the Patewood
campus, as well. With its 1,254 beds on 5 campuses,
this system is the largest healthcare provider in South
Carolina. It has 7 residency programs, including Pediatrics
and Med/Peds, 4 fellowships, a Level I Trauma Center,
a Level III NICU and a research facility. It is one
of the two teaching hospitals of the South Carolina
School of Medicine. Research opportunities are available
and academic appointments are from the University of
South Carolina and Clemson University. This position
offers the advantages of an academic setting in a large
multi-specialty practice setting.
