Otolaryngology Opportunity - Immediate Opening Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital has an opportunity for an Otolaryngologist who is interested in relocating to Somerset, Kentucky. Lake Cumberland is a true regional referral center for over 250,000 plus people from more than 7 surrounding counties. Your ramp-up would be quick - due to the definite need for this specialty. Lake Cumberland has a very competitive package for the right physician. We can offer either a Recruitment Agreement or Employed Agreement to the right physician. Total Package will include a sign on bonus - Relocation - office start up help - Advertisement Expense - etc depending on needs. Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is A 259-bed JCAHO-accredited acute-care facility that is located in south central Kentucky. We recently completed a $55 million project that added a 5 story patient tower, 25 additional acute-care beds and the addition of a three-level parking garage attached to our hospital. Construction included expansion areas for our Rehab Unit, Neurosciences Institute and the Heart & Lung Institute. Lake Cumberland has invested more than $47 million in facility and equipment capitol, which includes: 2 Cath labs, 2 1.5 telsa MRI's, 64 Slice CT, Spiral CT, Digital Fluoroscopy. Also adding Women's Breast Clinic with Digital Mammography, Wound Care Center with two Hyperbaric Chambers, Certified Stroke Center, EP laboratory; and a Bariatric Center. By the 2008 year-end, all areas of the hospital will be new or completely renovated! Somerset, Kentucky is one of the fastest growing communities in Kentucky. The Hospital serves over 65,000 residents countywide with a regional draw area over 250,000. With highly rated schools, both Public and Private.
