Central Maine Medical Group, a well established multispeciality group practice is seeking a certified nurse midwife. The obstetrics/gynecology practice includes three experienced nurse midwives, four obstetricians and one nurse practitioner. Located in the medical office building that is connected to a 250 bed regional referral center, we have modern birthing suites and a level II intermediate care nursery. Central Maine Medical Center is a nonprofit, 250 bed regional referral hospital serving a local population of 250,000. CMMC has excellent resources to support an active midwifery practice including up-to-date medical and surgical services, high quality nursing support, modern birthing suites and a level II neonatal nursery directed by two board certified neonatologists. Physical rehabilitation, speech and hearing services, diabetes education, health awareness classes and respiratory therapy are all available on site.
