Description: Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is a 292-bed acute care community hospital located on a beautiful campus just north of Baltimore in suburban Towson, Maryland.
Consistently recognized among the nation's top hospitals by US News & World Report and affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are currently seeking to fill two Practice Manager I positions.

Our OB/GYN practice located in Pikesville along with our new General practice in Mays Chapel are in need of a Practice Manager. Candidates must have a Bachelors degree or three years of practice management experience.
A Practice Manager duty include, plans and monitors the activities of assigned administrative and technical support personnel. Ensures office runs smoothly and efficiently and monitors adherence to departmental budget, policies and procedures. Handles complex and/or sensitive administrative duties for superior.

Other skills include:
- Extensive knowledge of billing processes
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Skill in using billing software applications
- Skill in developing and managing a budget
- Ability to compose, type and proofread correspondence and reports
- Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others
