Duties/ Qualifications/ Other Information
Alberta Health Services - Capital Health is seeking various EEG Technologists II to join their team at the various sites. Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the EEG Technologist is responsible for performing standard electroencephalograph tests on adults, children and infants; carrying out special procedures such as long term video monitoring and OR recording, and intra-operative Evoked Potential (EP) monitoring. Other responsibilities include carrying out research trials, training technologist-trainees and junior personnel and assists in training residents on rotation and nursing staff in-services.

Qualifications:
- Registered or eligible for registration with CBRET Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalograph Technologists (EEG) is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Licensed or eligible for licensing with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) is required.

- Registration in Evoked Potentials would be an asset.
- Intraoperative Monitoring Certification an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills with adults, children and children`s families.
