This position is covered by a collective agreement. Applications from outside the bargaining unit are welcome but can only be considered if the position is not filled from within this bargaining unit.

Reporting to the Coordinator, the Ultrasound is required to perform ultrasound technical procedures ensuring patient care and comfort are maintained at all times.

Qualifications
Â- Current A.R.D.M.S and/or C.A.R.D.U.P certification, with abdominal and obstetrical/gynaecological specialties
Â- Experience in diagnostic ultrasound is preferred
Â- Experience in vascular scanning preferred
Â- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with patients, public and staff
Â- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple and changing demands that require attention to detail in a high volume department
Â- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
Â- Excellent organizational skills
Â- Available for occasional weekends and some on call hours
Â- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
