Description: Colorado Plains Medical Center is a 50-bed acute-care hospital, fully accredited by JCAHO. With a Level III Trauma Center, 24-hour Emergency Room and many other services, the hospital chiefly serves a two county area of 35,000.
HOSPITAL:
Colorado Plains Medical Center is a 50-bed acute-care hospital, fully accredited by JCAHO, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. With a Level III Trauma Center, 24-hour Emergency Room and many other services, the hospital chiefly serves a two county area of 35,000.

Our diagnostic imaging services include MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Radiography ACR-certified Mammography and Ultrasound. Rehab services include Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies. Other services include Cardiopulmonary, Surgery, complete Lab Services, Obstetrics, Social Services, Dietary and Home Health.

MEDICAL STAFF:
A total of 22 active, 24 courtesy and 13 consulting medical staff members represent the following specialties:

Allergy, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Hematology & Oncology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pediatrics (Pediatric Cardiology & Pediatric Pulmonology), Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Pulmonology, Radiology, and Rehumatology.

Schedule: Full-time with Call (1:4)
Office Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M
Office Space Availability: spaces near Hospital Campus
Training/Background Required: US/Foreign Medical School-No Preference. US/Foreign Residency-No Preference. Board Certified/Board Eligible-MUST BE BOARD CERTIFIED WITHIN 6 YEARS OF RESIDENCY.

Hospital 4 Payor Mix: Medicare 45%, Medicaid 12%, Managed Care 30%, Commercial/Other 13%

Salary Details: Employment or Income Guarantee Salary Amount $160,000.00 (1st year guarantee by hospital. Following 1st year salary based on group's employment agreement of $100K plus productivity). Overhead amount $160,000.00. Employment package includes Moving Expenses (10K), Practice Consulting Assistance (12K), and Marketing Expenses (10K).

LOCATION:
Fort Morgan is an hour drive from Denver on Interstate 76, just 90 miles east of the Rocky Mountains. This family friendly town offers convenient access to some of America's best ski resorts and the rich cultural life of the Mile High City. Fort Morgan, population 14,000, has thrived on the eastern plains of Colorado since it was established in 1884. The city now serves as the commercial and retail hub of Northeastern Colorado, offering a multitude of cultural and educational resources.

EDUCATION:
The Fort Morgan School District consists of one early childhood center, three elementary schools, a fifth/sixth grade school, one middle school and one high school, as well as a private parochial school, pre-school to eighth grade. Morgan Community College is a two-year community college, one of 14 community colleges in the Colorado Community College & Occupational Education System, Colorado's largest system of higher education.

RECREATION:
The nearby Rocky Mountains are world renowned for their gold-medal fly-fishing and winter sports. Prime hunting areas for deer, antelope, pheasant, turkey, grouse, quail, duck and geese are plentiful around Fort Morgan. Pawnee Buttes National Grasslands, a 30-minute drive north, is a hiker's and photographer's paradise, and Jackson State Park and Reservoir offers boating, water skiing and fishing.

The city of Fort Morgan supports a strong city recreation program, including a challenging 18-hole municipal golf course. The 77-acre Riverside Park has playgrounds, horseshoe pits, skating rink, swimming pools, fitness trails, duck ponds, and facilities for volleyball, basketball, and baseball, all adjacent to a 240-acre natural area with walking trails.
