Healthcare is seeking one BC/BE pulmonologist/critical
care physician is sought, no sleep practice. US News/World
Report has rated the Pulmonary/Critical Care Division
of LDS Hospital a "top 50" division. Physician will
work as part of an integrated pulmonary/critical care
division at LDS Hospital an Intermountain Medical Center
in the Salt Lake Valley which includes a heart and
lung institute. These hospitals comprise major teaching
hospitals for the University of Utah Pulmonary and
Critical Care Fellowship Program and also have integrated
residencies and fellowships in most other specialties.
Academic position at the level of assistant or associate
professor with the Division of Pulmonary and Critical
Care Medicine, University of Utah. An interest in translational
and outcomes research is required. The physician will
work in conjunction with Dr. Terry Clemmer to develop
further the Medical Surgical ICU at LDS Hospital as
a model for excellent clinical care. Physician will
participate in pulmonary grand rounds, journal club,
research presentations, teaching, and quality improvement
projects to enhance patient care. Salary paid by Intermountain
Healthcare according to academic rank, with remaining
compensation from billing for clinical patient care,
plus night call and weekend stipend. Full Intermountain
