Description: Duke Affiliated Cardiology PA opportunity in Lumberton, NC
Excellent opportunity for experienced Cardiology PA to assist with developing and growing a community-based cardiology program with Duke University Medical Center and Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Cardiology program compliments new, local Duke Managed Heart Hospital-Southeastern Heart Center. Candidate would see office patients, hospital consults and supervise office testing. Local community has 15 year cardiovascular history with Duke.

Hired candidate would be home based in Lumberton. Southeastern Regional Medical Center is a private, not for profit facility with 314 acute care beds, 115 skilled beds, separate 33 bed psychiatric center, 24/7 hospitalist coverage and 12 bed ICU with telemetry for 16 additional beds and 6 additional cardiac ICU beds. Hospital serves as satellite station for Duke Life Care, and ED features telemedicine link to Duke. Imaging services include full time MRI availability.

Ideal candidates with have 2+ years of cardiology experience and be comfortable working autonomously.
