for a Fellowship-Trained Geriatrician
The Section of Geriatrics at The University of Chicago is pleased to announce the availability of full-time clinical and/or research opportunities for a Fellowship-trained geriatrician. We are seeking motivated individuals who seek to be leaders in scholarship. A wide range of resources are available, which can include research support and protected time. Successful candidates will join a distinguished program that is recognized as a John A. Hartford Center of Excellence in Geriatrics. Candidates are required to have an MD or DO, with a record of scholarly work in Geriatrics and/or Palliative Medicine, with additional degree (MPH, MS, PhD) or Fellowship (Palliative Care) training welcomed. Candidates must be BC/BE in Geriatrics and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois. Evidence of independent funding and comfort working in a multidisciplinary setting are strongly desired. Excellent teaching and clinical skills are also required. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with background and experience.
