Description: Assistant or Associate Professor
The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita (KUSM-W) is seeking a Physician who is board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join its faculty. The position is responsible for providing child and adolescent psychiatric consultations at the KUSM-W outpatient clinic. Clinic consultations may include group sessions, medicine checks, and therapy sessions. The Physician will provide inpatient child psychiatric services to patients without an assigned psychiatrist who are admitted to Via Christi Regional Medical Center.

In addition to clinic consultations, the Physician will be responsible for the teaching of psychiatry residents and medical students as well as physician consultation and liaison services. The Physician may also develop specialty clinics with the approval of the Chair and Director of Outpatient Services.

This position may be ranked either as Assistant or Associate Professor based on credentials.
