Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Opportunity in Urology
Join a practice with 2 urologists practicing in St. Paul and Bloomington. Work as a member of the Urology Department taking medical histories, examine and treat patients, make diagnosis, presribe medication, document notes, and patient education. This is a clinic based, non-operative position, providing clinical coverage 5 days per week. Will perform consults, pre-op and post-op rounding on patients at United Hospital in St. Paul and Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. First call one week every 4 weeks, with physician back up. Additional compensation provided when taking evening and weekend call. Lab, X-ray, MRI, CT and mammography are available on site. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Full time position, 35 patient contact hours per week. Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or an accredited school of professional nursing. A current MN license. A pending or current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner, DEA number.
