Responsible
for the delivery of patient care through the nursing
process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation,
and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating
all nursing care based on established clinical nursing
practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines
to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery
and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Licensure: Valid/Current Registered Nurse License
in the State of Indiana
Experience: Minimum
of one (1) year of clinical experience. Previous Home
Health Care experience preferred.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Other:
Required to have reliable transportation and valid
drivers license. Required to carry own Automobile Liability
Insurance. Assures protection and privacy of health
information as attained through written, verbal or
electronic disclosure. Performs job requirements in
compliance with the policies and procedures of the
department and the hospital. Communicates effectively
with individuals of all age, ethnic, and disability
categories. Demonstrates age appropriate competency
and knowledge with ability to perform required skills,
specific to all age groups: Infant, child, adolescent,
adult and geriatric. Develops professionally through
attending required inservices, maintains appropriate
licensure, certification and registration. Required
to have completion of CPR within 30 days of hire and
remain current.
