Description Individual must be highly motivated, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exemplary PC troubleshooting/ repair skills. Install, configure, and support the organization's network systems, such as local area network, wide area network, Internet, intranet, and other data communication/educational systems. Monitor network to ensure availability and maximize resources to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to equipment and programs. Provides technical assistance to computer users to include, but not limited to, computer hardware and software, printers/printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. 3-5 year previous work experience in a PC Specialist/ System Support or equivalent. CS,CIS, or Microsoft certification is preferred. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (preferred) Experience: At least three years of experience in a computer support and/or analyst role Familiarity in the following technological areas: backup/archival, configuration/operational management, educational/informational, desktop/administrative, network security and monitoring, and viral protection software programs Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, critical thinking, active listening, verbal and written communication, complex problem solving, learning strategies/instruction, and service orientation Management of web environment design, deployment, development and maintenance activities Click 'Apply to Job' Posting
