Florida Children's Hospital is comprised of 145 beds, includes a 31 bed Level III NICU, 31 bed Level II NICU, a 13 bed Level I PICU, 16 bed PCU/Hematology/Oncology Unit, 45 General Medicine/ Surgical beds, and Florida's only Renal Transplant and Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant program. In September, 2007 Florida Children's Hospital announced a $10 million contribution from Walt Disney World towards a $40 million expansion project when completed in 2010, Florida Children's Hospital will have 200 beds and will be the first Children's Hospital in the world to bear the Disney name. Florida Children's Hospital is part of Florida Hospital, a 2,000-bed integrated tertiary care health system located in Orlando, Florida.

Job Description
Florida Children's Hospital is seeking a pediatric specialist to provide clinical services for our 45 bed Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit.

Responsibilities include patient care rounds, clinical interventions, drug information, pharmacist and nursing staff development, pharmacokinetic and nutrition consults, protocol and program development, P&T and MUE committee participation, research opportunities and support of pharmacy satellite operations. Precepting clerkship students and residents is expected.

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
- Completion of Pediatric Specialty Residency
- License to practice pharmacy in Florida or license eligibility is required.
